The Philadelphia 76ers fans had some intriguing moments with Adrian Wojnarowski’s bombs. Adrian Wojnarowski dropped a final Woj bomb this week that he won’t be working as an insider for ESPN. Thus, the Sixers revealed their favorite Woj bomb. Also one of these moments was about Tyrese Maxey.

On X, the Phillies reposted Adrian’s tweet from 19th November 2020 with the caption “our favorite Woj’s bomb”. Adrian’s tweet was about the Sixers’ targeting Tyrese Maxey as the number 21 draft pick. During Maxey’s rookie season, he averaged eight points, 1.7 rebounds, and two assists. Since then, the 23-year-old performance on the court improved. Also, he earned a max contract, just like Joel Embiid, to raise the Sixers team to greater heights.

James Harden’s trade into the Sixers was another Woj bomb that got the Philly fans into conversations. During this period, the Philly franchise needed to be championship contenders after experiencing a long drought of championship titles. However, Joel Embiid and James Harden didn’t work. Thus, James got traded to the Clippers

Another interesting Woj bomb was Ben Simmons’ incident with former Sixers coach, Doc Rivers. Doc Rivers sent Ben out of the team’s practice after the guard refused to join the team. As a result, Ben Simmons got fined and suspended for one game by the Sixers franchise. Ben Simmons’s trade to the Brooklyn Nets with Andre Drummond and other draft picks led to the acquisition of James Harden.

Finally, Paul George’s move to the Philadelphia 76ers was another exciting Woj bomb. Paul George signed a four-year contract with the 76ers to complete the team’s big three. With this signing, the Sixers team has a better chance of contending at postseason games. Also, they should make it past the first round this time.

Pete Thamel, Jeff Passan, and Adam Schefter reported that Adrian Wojnarowski would be the general manager at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure. Adrian will work with the transfer portal, recruiting, alumni engagement, and program fundraising. Also, Adrian expressed his passion to work and elevate the St. Bonaventure Men’s Basketball franchise to greater heights.

I’m thrilled and humbled to return to St. Bonaventure with an opportunity to serve the university, Coach Mark Schmidt, and our elite Atlantic 10 men’s basketball program. In these changing times of college sports, I’m eager to join a championship program that combines high-level basketball, national television exposure, pro preparation, and NIL opportunities with an intimate, supportive educational environment.

Final Thoughts

This news of the ESPN senior NBA insider leaving ESPN feels like the aftermath of an atomic bomb. Trade deadlines, offseason breaking news, and the NBA draft would be the same without Adrian Wojnarowski. Another candidate close to taking Adrian’s position is Shams Charania. Thus, ESPN may lure him out of the Athletics to work for them.
