WWE’s Raw Debuts On Netflix Tonight

Raw

Well, well, well, it is officially 2025, and that means the Monday Night Raw Netflix Era is upon us. Tonight is the first WWE event on the streaming platform, and it promises to be a good one! Raw has been on network television for the past 30 years (mostly on USA). It becomes the first weekly live show on Netflix. The card and guest appearances are stacked from top to bottom! What can fans expect? What would fans like to see? Who will be on the first Monday Night Raw on Netflix?

The Raw Card on the First Netflix Episode

According to Michael Cole on The Pat McAfee Show, “This is a WrestleMania-worthy card!” The show is expected to kick off with rapper Travis Scott performing the new Monday Night Raw theme song. This will begin the new era of Raw on Netflix! There are four huge matchups advertised for tonight’s show. Fans will get to see Jey Uso seeking revenge on Drew McIntyre after recent attacks. A long-time rival that will add another chapter between Seth Rollins and CM Punk will happen.

Liv Morgan has stolen Rhea Ripley’s man (Daddy Dom), friends (the Judgement Day), and Women’s World Title. Most fans think it’s time for Mami to get some revenge and get her championship back. The main event of the night should be the OTC Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat for the coveted Ula Fala and the title of Tribal Chief.

Special Appearances

I already mentioned rapper Travis Scott being part of the show, but who else could show up? First of all, I’m not sure if you will be able to “see him,” but John Cena will begin his farewell tour. One of the greatest heels in the business, Logan Paul, is also making his return to Monday Night Raw. Whether you love him or hate him, Paul is a phenomenal athlete and isn’t too shabby on the mic.

A couple of Attitude Era’s biggest rivals, Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Final Boss, the Rock, are rumored to be in LA for Monday night. It could be interesting if the Rock is involved in the Tribal Combat match between Roman and Solo.

What Could Happen On Raw

I expect a lot of surprises tonight on Monday Night Raw. I wrote an article a few months back before War Games in November with a Bloodline storyline that would involve the first Netflix Raw. WWE officials have stated that the rating system on Netflix would remain the same, family-friendly feel that we are all used to. I don’t expect wrestling to go full Attitude Era, but I would like to think they could push the envelope with more edgier content.

I would expect Rhea Ripley to become the new Women’s Champion leading into WrestleMania season. There could also be a scenario where she loses and must go through 29 other women at the Royal Rumble to seek her revenge on Morgan.

The Tribal Combat match could not only be the best match of 2025 (I mean, it’s only been a few days) but could add so many twists and turns to this storyline. Will the Rock get involved? Who will he side with? The last time we saw the Final Boss, he didn’t seem too happy with the OTC teaming up with the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. Will Paul Heyman have a role in the match? I thought it would’ve made complete sense for Heyman to join the new Bloodline. Is that still in the cards?

Final Thoughts

With the new Era of Monday Night Raw among us, what will this era bring? We have gotten used to great storylines and action with Paul Levesque at the helm. Hopefully, Netflix doesn’t experience the same struggles they had during the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight. This is the most anticipated televised wrestling show in years!
