The June 17th, 2024, Monday Night Raw saw multiple major moments occur, however, none of them compared to the final segment on this week’s show.
In recent months, vignettes played regarding a certain faction which has led to high anticipation for the debut of the Wyatt 6. This group was created to carry on the legacy of the late great Bray Wyatt and will be led by Wyatt’s brother, Bo Dallas, who appears on screen as Uncle Howdy.
The faction officially made their debut on Monday Night Raw, in a segment that saw chaos ensue backstage before they finally made their way out to the crowd.
Wyatt 6 Debut on Monday Night Raw
In the main event segment of Monday Night Raw, one of the members of the newly formed Wyatt 6 entered through a door and appeared in front of the crowd. They were holding the infamous lantern that Bray Wyatt always kept by his side for over a decade.
The camera then cut backstage and slowly introduced each member of the Wyatt 6 one by one, while also showing multiple staff members left beaten up and blooded by the new faction. The infamous sledgehammer which was used by the tag team of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper (Brodie Lee), known as the Bludgeon Brothers and originally a part of The Wyatt Family, was shown on screen as well.
One of the key moments from this debut was seeing a beaten down Chad Gable, as he was shown bleeding from his head on camera. This could very well be the faction’s first feud and, certainly, Gable won’t be able to participate in the Money in the Bank qualifying match next week on Monday Night Raw after what happened to him tonight.
The final member introduced of course was Uncle Howdy himself. He walked back through the backstage area and retrieved the other members of the faction as they went out to the crowd. The final scene shown in this segment was the breaking of the lantern that was so symbolic of Bray Wyatt’s career, showcasing that his legacy will always live on.
Who is in the Wyatt 6 Faction?
There is no confirmation by the WWE itself regarding who the members of this newly formed faction are, though there have been reports that state the names of the wrestlers who will be involved in the Wyatt 6.
The first member and seemingly the leader of the Wyatt 6 is of course Bo Dallas who will play the Uncle Howdy character. Uncle Howdy made his first on-screen appearance during the buildup to Royal Rumble 2023, as it seemed that he was controlling all of Bray Wyatt’s decisions and was a huge influence on his decisions.
Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross are three other wrestlers who will be a part of this faction. Despite not having any direct relation to Bray Wyatt, it seems clear that their characters were highly influenced by Wyatt.
Erick Rowan has also made his WWE return as he will be another member of this faction. Originally being a part of The Wyatt Family, he looks to carry on his old faction’s legacy with his new one. He was also the man holding the sledgehammer during this segment, representing his former tag team partner and former Wyatt Family member, the late great Luke Harper.
With there only being five onscreen members of this faction, it seems as if the 6th member of this group is Wyatt himself. This was shown with the lantern playing a huge part in this segment, as it represented Bray’s career heavily. This new Wyatt 6 faction will look to continue the legendary careers of both Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt and will do so successfully.
