WWE Backlash 2024 Revealed a Strange Thing Under the Ring

For those who witnessed WWE Backlash 2024, the first match surely had crowds chanting obscenities, but for a fantastic reason: it was a damn good match, an unlikely first one to kick off the PPV.

Kevin Owens/Randy Orton Vs. Solo Sikoa/Tama Tonga Had a Lot Going for It, Including….

One surprising reveal that had everyone talking: it was the debut of one Tanga Loa!

He’s the brother of Tama Tonga — and we think it’s fair to say that he’s the latest member of the Bloodline following the backlash (no pun intended) of Roman Reigns subsequent loss of the Undisputed Championship.

Things undoubtedly change. And with Solo Sikoa now taking on the mantle as tribal chief, we’re seeing a trend here: new members are flocking to the BloodLine. And these new members are certainly out for…. Blood.

Yet You Might’ve Also Noticed Something Peculiar About Tanga Loa’s Debut on WWE Backlash 2024

Did you catch the apron move? ….Like…. Someone was under that ring!

Seems pretty clear that Tanga Loa was under the ring, too, before breaking up Owens’ pin and allowing Sikoa to capitalize for the win. Yet after Loa revealed himself, it looked like there was still someone else underneath. See for yourself below:

Sus, right? And the guesses are flowing like wine across the River Bloodline.

Solo’s not doing this solo, which is all right by me. The Samoan Dynasty started a takeover of immense serendipity. I’d say he’s doing quite the service at the head of the table, and the locker room better be prepared (especially Cody Rhodes — and, well, anybody else for that matter).

Sadly, though, the news seems pretty clear about the answer to this mystery of the infamous moving ring apron of WWE Backlash 2024. Chances are you won’t like the news:

The Referee Was, Apparently, Under the Ring

That’s who we saw move the apron at WWE Backlash 2024. Sadly.

Makes sense, too, as Tanga Loa pulled the ref outside, and as the camera panned over to watch the latest member of the Bloodline wreak havoc, that’s when we saw the apron move.

But rest assured: check everywhere, do your research, follow the breadcrumbs, and you’ll find that the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu has signed with WWE. So expect to see him very soon. No doubt about that.

The question, though, remains:

Who Else Will We See Join the Bloodline?

Better yet…. After Roman Reigns does return (and he will), what will he return to? A fractured table? A WWE Samoan hydra with many heads at it? Will Reigns have to chop all of those heads off like a Samoan Hercules? What will become of the Bloodline then?

Only time will tell, and we must simply wait and enjoy the following storylines after WWE Backlash 2024 unfolds. In the meantime, let us know what you think in the comments below. Are you intrigued by the direction WWE is going? What will become of Seth Rollins? When we see Doink again? Will Paul Heyman get Kept (that’s the hair loss stuff, guys)?
