Following their visit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, the players headed to Mumbai. In Mumbai, the Men in Blue staged an open bus triumph procession from Marine Drive to the landmark Wankhede Stadium.

The parade was a sight to behold, with hundreds of spectators lining Marine Drive and surrounding the bus before it could even be loaded with Indian players.

“We are quite delighted. We’ve been waiting for this for a long time. It’s nice to see our people here. It is a wonderful joy to host the World Cup. This is more for India than for us… “It was great to meet him (Prime Minister Narendra Modi),” Kuldeep Yadav told ANI.

The squad arrived at Wankhede to enthusiastic applause, chants, and claps. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office-bearers presented them with the Rs 125 crore prize money at the Wankhede Stadium.

Players also discussed their victory and the exploits of important players in the T20 World Cup in front of a full Wankhede Stadium, while dancing their hearts out. The players also performed a victory lap to the tune of the country’s national hymn, ‘Vande Mataram’.

Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), planned the trip, which took out from hurricane-hit Barbados on July 2 and arrived in Delhi around 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. The flight also carried board officials and members of the tournament’s media contingent.

Kuldeep Yadav, India’s wrist spinner, revealed his views on the country’s T20 World Cup triumph on Saturday. He characterized his encounter as bizarre and beyond imagination. The victory was especially meaningful for Yadav, who played a key role in the team’s performance throughout the competition.

India won their second T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa in a dramatic final in Barbados on June 29. “It has been an unreal experience for me, and I hope to continue having such experiences in the future,” Kuldeep Yadav said during a felicitation celebration in Kanpur, according to PTI.

“This experience might last a lifetime for some people. Thus, I expect the squad to do similarly in the next ICC event (Champions Trophy) and play its best cricket.”

Kuldeep Yadav was the fourth Indian bowler to reach a notable milestone in the competition, taking ten wickets. He joined the ranks of Arshdeep Singh, who had 11 dismissals.

“I’m overjoyed as a player since this is my ninth year with Team India, and I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of collecting an ICC trophy. It’s difficult to put into words what we’ve experienced over the last week,” he continued.

Kuldeep noted that the triumph was the product of the team’s great camaraderie, encouragement, and hard work.

“The team’s connection and support for one another during the competition, as well as how we have played over the previous three to four years, has resulted in the outcome that we have today.”, Kuldeep Yadav stated.
