Evil Uncle Howdy Must Debut at Summerslam 2024

Uncle Howdy WWE Debut as The Fiend

Wyatt Sick’s faction Uncle Howdy appeared on WWE RAW in June 2024. People look forward to Howdy’s first match, preferably at SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. WWE needs to build on its current push and be cautious about its ‘scarecrow’ gimmick.

Establishing Howdy at SummerSlam, one of the WWE’s biggest events would do the job. This would also pay tribute to Bray Wyatt in the same way as The Fiend was introduced in 2019. With Howdy, it would be a statement to make when booking him at SummerSlam, by making the masses aware of his presence and the anticipation of future matches, but at the same time, learn from the mistakes in the past with similar characters.

Bray Wyatt Sick’s faction Uncle Howdy debuted in WWE on Monday Night RAW in June 2024 and they came in with a bang, blood, and impact. However, Uncle Howdy has not wrestled in WWE and fans are waiting for his first match in the ring. The ideal event for Howdy to challenge in his first WWE match is the SummerSlam 2024 event in Cleveland, Ohio. Some WWE fans got bored with the build-up of Uncle Howdy’s return. If the wrestler waited a long time before making an in-ring debut, people may lose interest in him. WWE has to be very cautious when dealing with Howdy’s spooky gimmick. Up to now, his arrival has been depicted excellently with a grand entrance for his faction and moving scenes.

Why SummerSlam 2024 is Perfect for Howdy’s Debut

WWE should capitalize on the momentum and debut Howdy while interest is high. His debut doesn’t mean he needs to compete every week; showcasing his dominance and destruction in the ring would build anticipation for future matches. SummerSlam is one of WWE’s biggest shows every year. Uncle Howdy appearing at SummerSlam would make it clear he means business. More eyes would be on Howdy at this event. Although WWE has made many of their B-shows feel grandiose, the ‘big four’ still retain a special feeling.

SummerSlam is second only to WrestleMania in WWE’s list of biggest shows. Booking Uncle Howdy on the SummerSlam card would make a statement. Under Triple H, PLE cards have been shorter, making it a big deal to be on the card. SummerSlam would be the perfect stage for Howdy to debut, with Chad Gable as a strong opponent.

Honoring Bray Wyatt with Uncle Howdy

Another factor that makes it reasonable for Uncle Howdy to wrestle at SummerSlam is the importance of honoring Bray Wyatt. The Wyatt Sicks has Wyatt’s soul in it, right from the names of the group to the Firefly Funhouse characters. In 2019, Bray Wyatt introduced his new character known as The Fiend and he had his first wrestling match at SummerSlam against Finn Balor.

An entrance that sent shivers down the spine and a complete domination of the opponent left the fans spellbound. To have Bo Dallas’ alter ego of Uncle Howdy wrestle at SummerSlam five years later would be touching and dramatic. It would be wise to book the debut similarly to The Fiend’s if it was done in 2019 as it was effective. Triple H needs to build on what they did with The Fiend and bring that same strategy to Howdy but at the same time, avoid the mistakes that were made in the past.

Uncle Howdy’s debut could mark the beginning of a thrilling new chapter in WWE history.
