Brian Pillman’s career was one of the most premature but interesting that professional wrestling has left us. The professional wrestler and American football player left a great legacy within WCW, ECW and WWE before passing away in 1997 at the age of 35.
Fortunately, after almost three decades of waiting. The Loose Canon’s memory will be restored and protected by his family under the collaboration of the TKO company. Through her social networks, Brittany Pillman Evans confirmed that her family obtained the image rights to market under the name of her father.

“I never thought I’d see this day, but after 27 long years, my siblings and I finally own the rights to our father’s legacy !” Brittany said on her Instagram stories. “I just want to say thank you to all the fans for keeping my father’s name alive, this is all thanks to you. And thank you to WWE for making this happen!”

Brittany also confirmed that the WWE will launch a new line of merchandising focused on Brian Pillman. Although she has not provided any further details about it. In the past, Pro Wrestling Tees was responsible for distributing t-shirts dedicated to the memory of The Loose Canon, with the profits being shared between the company and Brian Pillman Jr.
Currently, the aforementioned continues his father’s legacy within WWE under the name Lexis King. The 30-year-old professional wrestler develops within NXT as one of the recruits at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Regrettably, typical of Brian’s life, the good times never lasted too long. Eventually, Flyin’ Brian found himself embroiled in a conflict with Goldust over his valet Marlena, who happened to be both a former girlfriend of Pillman’s and Goldust’s real-life wife.

Concern arose when Pillman failed to appear at the venue as scheduled for the much anticipated PPV. His absence raised alarm. But sadly, the wrestler was found dead in his hotel room following a severe cardiac arrest, he died at 35.
Brian Pillman left behind a wife and five children, with one of them being Brian Pillman Jr., who is currently competing in AEW. Not only does he leave behind a remarkable legacy of exceptional performances and remarkable talent, but he also leaves behind a sense of untapped potential. Despite all the challenges, Pillman packed a lot of wild stories into those short 35 years.
