Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat has been all over social media over the past few months because of his brewing rivalry with Jake Paul. After months of back and forth online, Goyat recently traveled to Puerto Rico to face off against ‘The Problem Child’. While Paul prepares for his upcoming fight against Ryan Bourland this weekend, it remains to be seen if he will enter the squared circle against Goyat later in the year.

Neeraj Goyat currently holds a professional record of 18-4-2. The 32-year-old began his pro boxing career at the age of 15. The Indian boxer is widely considered to be the best men’s boxer that the country has ever produced. He is a three-time winner of the WBC Asian welterweight title.
Goyat’s last appearance inside the squared circle came against Phakom Aiemyod last year in May. And he won the fight via TKO. It is worth noting that there is a significant weight difference between him and Jake Paul. While Goyat fights at welterweight, Paul fights in the cruiserweight division.
This makes a fight between the two highly unlikely. However, considering the hype that is building around this fight, it might be a good business decision for Jake Paul to fight Neeraj Goyat to captivate the Indian audience.
Jake Paul sends out a message for Tyreek Hill, Neeraj Goyat, and Tommy Fury
‘The Problem Child’ has been one of the most notable figures in the world of boxing over the past few years. As a result, he has often been called out by athletes who think they can get the better of the social media superstar. Most recently, NFL player Tyreek Hill had some stern words about Paul.
Moreover, Neeraj Goyat has also been quite vocal about how Jake Paul does not stand a chance against him. Addressing both Hill and Goyat along with his former opponent Tommy Fury who hasn’t agreed to a rematch yet, Paul recently took to X. He said:
“All these guys yap yap yap. Tyreek – you would get mauled in the ring by me. Lion kills a cheetah every time in a small space. No where to run. Come on brother. Neeraj – brave for coming to PR all the way from India. But you too small brother. 1 hand is all I need. Tommy – you been running for a year now. I’m ready anytime. Offered you 8 figures. You and daddy think it’s worth more…ok bring me the money.”
