What Should Happen at WWE Bad Blood 2024

CM Punk, WWE

Bad Blood 2024 finally arrives on Saturday, October 5th from Atlanta, Georgia. It has been well over a month that WWE has been promoting this PLE and the expectations have become gigantic. We take a look at what is likely to occur this weekend . This is Bad Blood and we know that in WWE, anything can happen.

It is hard to say which match will officially be the main event of this card, but there are increasingly more rumors that CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre is not going to be the main event of Bad Blood. This is likely due to technical issues in setting up the cell itself and to avoid a long hiatus between the penultimate match and the main event. The more likely option is Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns versus The Bloodline.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu: WWE has given us a swirl of possibilities with this one but needing to accomplish three things. Jacob Fatu needs to keep momentum and not take the loss. The same applies to Solo, due to recent multiple losses. It is inconceivable that they will allow Reigns to lose, which only leaves Rhodes.
Prediction: While it seems unlikely given the mega-powers team of Rhodes and Reigns, we will see Cody take the pin. Jacob Fatu will pin Cody Rhodes to create intrigue. The odds all over the world, however, favor the champion and the Original Tribal Chief.

Main Card

Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship: The addition of Dominik Mysterio being hung over the ring in a shark cage adds a crazy element to this match-up. When we factor in Judgment Day, as well, it is hard to say but it’s not looking great for Ripley’s odds. Prediction: Due to all of the shenanigans that are sure to occur, Liv Morgan will retain her championship.

Damian Priest vs Finn Balor: What might bump up against the women’s world title match is this next match between Priest and Balor. Judgment Day looks to be a significant part of the show and losses do not seem to affect them. Priest, however, needs the momentum.
Prediction: Damian Priest will win this one, although they will make Balor look good in the loss.

Nia Jax vs Bayley WWE Women’s Championship: Nia Jax should be favored in this title bout when looking at it from a physical standpoint. It could be more about Tiffany Stratton with her Money In The Bank briefcase at the end. Jax will barely defeat Bayley, but then what?
Prediction: Jax wins, but Tiffany Stratton cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase and becomes the new WWE Women’s Champion.

Hell in a Cell

The final awaited battle in the feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is here, and it is going to get bloody. Each has vowed to draw blood from the other in the cell, as they have expressed their hatred for one another throughout this year. This should be the final chapter in WWE’s best rivalry this year, and perhaps one of the top of the modern era.

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre Hell in a Cell: We will see a bloody match in which each man will push their limits…and each other. It should be a historical end of WWE’s top current grudge between two of the biggest superstars. Will we see Punk at his best, though?
Prediction: CM Punk wins this match, but barely. If Punk does not win this one, where does he go from here? The loss does not hurt anything that McIntyre has built throughout his career. He will remain a top contender despite losing to Punk.
