Former Pakistani batter Ahmed Shehzad opened up about his comparison with star Indian batter Virat Kohli. During a recent interview with a private TV channel, Shehzad was asked about his views on having a similarity with Virat Kohli.
The former cricketer said that he initially seemed to be the Indian batter, however, Virat Kohli later worked on his fitness, which changed his body and face structure.
Virat Kohli Comparison: Ahmed Shehzad Opens Up
As indicated by Ahmed Shahzad, the jawline of Virat Kohli changed with time, which further decreased the likeness between the two cricketers. On his cricketing abilities, the former cricketer said that Kohli remains the top player of the current generation and a good example for millions.
For Shehzad, Kohli has scored hundreds of runs against top-quality sides for a significant period and remains the best batter in the world. For the uninitiated, Ahmed Shehzad has played 153 international matches for Pakistan and scored 5,058 runs, with 10 centuries and 25 fifties to his name.
His last appearance was in a T20I match against Sri Lanka at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on October 7, 2019. Right now, Kohli has caused a commotion in and out of town with a large number of fours in T20 World Cup matches. He has hit 103 fours in 27 games. He’s particularly close to being at the top.
