Solo Sikoa seeks Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa looks to dominate the current undisputed champion. Cody Rhodes was defeated by the Bloodline and was brutally beaten by the upcoming challenger. This resulted in an embarrassing defeat at the great match of Money in the Bank, which was on the night of SmackDown. The buildup is mounting, and the anticipation for a single showdown between the two grows.

The current champ was defeated in the ring, all while Sikoa claims to be the Tribal Chief, now wants complete dominance over everyone. The people who wanted him to fight Rhodes and his team didn’t want him as the leader, but he wanted them to embrace him as one. He came up to the ring after defeating Rhodes and stated to everyone that he should be the only one who deserved it; he demanded to be acknowledged as the head honcho.

Critical fight buildup

As mentioned, this fight storyline really took off into high gear at the last SmackDown. And now August 3, at SumerSlam Cleveland, fans will be able to see the two compete for the coveted belt. It should be an exciting fight as the two build their animosity toward each other that was fully on display in their last appearances. Rhodes showed up and moved towards the ring but the fight seemed to be unfair because he was heavily outmatched by the Bloodline. He was obviously in the middle of the fight and at that time it didn’t look like he was winning at any point but the tables seemed to be turning when a teammate stepped in.

Randy Orton showed up and rushed to the ring to deal with Skioa and his team and defend his partner. When the wrestler stepped in the ring he fought to some extent but, as predicted, he was also outnumbered by the other side. The matchup proved to be too much.

There is a lot at stake here, including potential jockeying for Tribal Chief acknowledgment. This ongoing feud will certainly add an interesting chapter for fans as they prepare to fight in the state of Ohio. While the title is on the line, how the fight itself unfolds will be critical. Even a close, evenly contested fight that results in a loss for either side will at least allow both fighters to keep face.

While their previous encounter ended in a one-sided victory, a lot can change when it’s only two people going at it, competing for supremacy. And as the past events would indicate, wrestling fans know that both of these guys are going to give it their all and try to prove that they deserve the desired recognition.

Fighting for the championship

Nick Aldis was not present at the moment that night, and because of this, they couldn’t make the fight official. So the involved fighters wanted to get things before it was made official because of their rivalry. It resulted in a devastating defeat, but the upcoming fight provides room for a much-needed redemption arc. The loss could embolden a stronger performance.

Anything can happen in the ring, so who knows what surprises there are in store! However, either way, this is one the many of been clamoring for. From two athletes who will surely look to impress, this legitimately has the potential to be an instant classic of a title fight!
