Undertaker Wants a Last Match Before Retirement

Undertaker Wants a Last Match

Undertaker one of the Greatest WWE Icons recently showed up on a podcast with a famous YouTuber and Boxer Logan Paul. He was impressed by the rising star of the Combat Sports. Logan Paul is a Wrestler who started with streaming and ended up starting a professional Career in WWE in the year 2022. Undertaker and Logan Paul had a brief conversation on different aspects of WWE.

Logan was appreciated by “The Deadman” and mentioned the fact that Logan Paul has increased the Value of the WWE Title. The Phenom also expressed his thoughts on the Podcast about doing one last match before Retirement. The Undertaker also accepted the fact that there are different reasons for his retirement and because of that there couldn’t be any other result other than retirement.

Reason of Undertaker’s Retirement

The reason that Undertaker wants one last match is because he wants to say goodbye to his fans and hang his hat there when he leaves. “Yeah, just to put the exclamation point on the career. I wanted to have that one match I could hang my hat on and say goodbye.” He’s suffering from severe health issues now that don’t allow him to continue wrestling for WWE.

It takes great motivation and willpower to perform in the WWE ring, and Undertaker doesn’t seem to have that now. The undertaker is now 59 years old, and his body is weak enough to claim that he won’t be able to continue further, as he also said himself. “My body was breaking down to the point where I could walk and talk, and I could get out right now and do a match. But it’s not a match that you, as an Undertaker fan or an Undertaker fan, say, Oh, that’s not mine. They may give me the benefit of the doubt because I’ve got all that equity built up in all those years.”

The last fight of Undertaker was the Boneyard match against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 36. It was not like every other match of his as it was quite different from the others in the light of COVID-19. Therefore, it left him unsatisfied, and now he looks forward to retiring forever. “Recently, I’ve just kind of had closure at Mania. I’ve struggled since I retired from being at live events. Like, I would go. I was at the Rumble because I had a One Dead Man Show in Clearwater, and I stayed over, and I was at the Rumble.”

But now the time has come, he is ready for it, and he has accepted the reality too. His body can no longer accompany him in the live events, as he said, “Internally, my body and my mind are saying, ‘You should be getting ready; you should be going out there.’ I get almost—I wouldn’t say anxiety—but I just get this feeling like I can’t take it, right? Because I want to be out there so bad.” So, what do you think about the Great Undertaker and his retirement? Let us know in the comment section.
