UFC Vegas 97 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday, September 7, 2024. The main event of Vegas 97 will host Gilbert Burns vs Sean Brady. Brady would be looking forward to building up his streak as he lost to the current Welterweight Champion, Belal Muhammad in UFC 280, but restored himself after winning against Kelvin Gastelum. The fighters don’t hold any of the titles but they will fight for their ranking towards the title. Gilbert holds the ranking of No.6 position which he’ll be defending against his rival Sean Brady, who holds the ranking of #8 position.

Gilbert Burns started his professional career and fought his first fight in 2012 while Brady fought his first fight in 2014. Gilbert Burns has fought a total of 29 fights and won 22 of them but lost 7 of the fights, and most importantly there is no draw in his professional career. Gilbert has a good striking ability, so he has knocked out 6 fighters until now and won nine of the fights by submission and 7 of the fights by decision.
On the other side, if we analyze Sean Brady, he has only fought 17 fights and only lost one fight in his whole professional career and won all of the 16 fights with no draw. Both fighters have a little height difference which gives them equality to fight without the advantage of height. Bradley has good grappling and striking but has only knocked out 3 fighters until now. And won 8 of the fights by decision including 5 of the fights by submission.
Because Burns has more experience and more knockouts, there are higher chances that Burns will retain his No.6 ranking and keep Brady in the No.8 ranking. Our possible winner for the UFC Vegas 97 Main event could be Gilbert Burns.

UFC Vegas 97 is going to host a very popular Co-main event this time. The Co-main event is going to host Jessica Andrade vs Natalia Silva. It is very popular because Andrade was looking forward to retiring soon but she returned to the flyweight division because she accused her coach of stealing 2 Million dollars from her. She had to come back to earn back, what she lost. There is a huge experience difference between each of the fighters because Andrade has fought 38 fights and won 26 of them while Silva has only won 17 fights in a total of 23 fights.
Although there is a huge difference in the experience, Natalia Sliva has gone through a lot in all these years as she waited for more than 2 years before fighting the first time in UFC and was able to release the scream that had been stuck for more than 2 years.
