Triple H Declines to Give MVP And Bobby Lashley Updates

MVP
Earlier in the week, during a media event in London, WWE superstar Paul “Triple H” Levesque sought to explain rumors regarding WWE superstars Bobby Lashley and MVP. Levesque was in the city evaluating the possibility of making the city home to the WrestleMania event, and since the show, he has been probed about the rumored exodus of both wrestlers. In his responses, he was rather subdued, as it is with many things related to professional wrestling contracts.

The speculation was taken to another level last Sunday when Fightful News highlighted Bobby Lashley’s contract clause by stating that his WWE deal had run out and he had been taken off the WWE’s payroll list. According to another wrestling journalist, Dave Meltzer, both Bobby Lashley and MVP may leave WWE shortly, which might bring “The Hurt Business” back with Shelton Benjamin, maybe in AEW. The latest Instagram post, which MVP made signaling that it might be time to say goodbye to the group, only amplified the conversation

Triple H on Talent Leaving WWE

Regarding the speculation about Bobby Lashley and MVP, Triple H, perhaps inspired by the spirit of the holiday season, said just three words—Amber O’Neil contracts are short—and quickly moved on. When asked about this matter, he replied, No changes so far. He went on talking. You know, like the game or any other business, we recruit talents; they have their contracts, and, of course, some of us do not renew the contracts, if I may say it this way.

The selection of the wrestlers is based on talent. Talent always makes a space for itself in any sort of condition; it is the basic process of hiring any wrestler. “No. Just like any sport, any business, we sign talent, talent contract runs out, and we release talent. It’s just part of the process, so it’s an ongoing thing,” he said. Fans are very curious to know about the future of their stars and whether they are going to see them perform or not. Speculation, rumors, and unclear statements can not decide the future of wrestlers like Bobby Lashley and MVP. Some experts claim that they may enter AEW to initiate (The Hurt Business) again.

MVP’s Subtle Farewell

Upon the speculation, MVP shared a sort of statement that is continuing to other media discussions. MVP posted on Instagram on Wednesday, which looks like a farewell to WWE. His simple message, ‘What a ride,’ along with other comments he made about his time on WWE seemed to suggest that the current phase of his career is coming to a close. Only time will tell where he lands next.

This emotionally charged, though quite enigmatic, message only seems to add more fuel to the fire as to his possible exit. Because Bobby Lashley’s contract is expiring soon at the beginning of next month, as well as MVP somewhat recently beginning to post on social media websites, the duration of both WWE Superstars’ employment with the company is still yet to be determined. His future in WWE is uncertain, yet a clear statement is still required. But most likely he is willing to join AEW. To sum up, fans will need to watch for further news, for this story is far from over.
