On the show, CM Punk stated that he would like to face The Rock in a rematch, possibly at WrestleMania. During Fanatics Fest, Punk when asked whether he wished to have another match with The Rock. CM Punk seemed positive about the rematch between him and ‘The Rock’.
He has worked together with The Rock in the world of pro wrestling for a long time. The management also asked CM Punk about Steve Austin. It means that CM Punk would be looking forward to having a match with Steve Austin, but then what about “The Rock”? CM has plans for both of them. According to Punk, he can take both of them.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre added more fuel to his rivalry with CM Punk on Saturday. When Punk was asked to say ‘one nice thing’ about McIntyre during Fanatics Fest in New York City, he gave a compliment that wasn’t entirely sincere. “One nice thing about Drew McIntyre, He’s the fourth-best wrestler to ever wear a kilt.”
McIntyre was not going to respond to this in a good way, as his attitude is built like that. He responded, “Poor question. S**t answer. Phil has been living off that pipebomb for 13 years. Let’s see if these guys bring that energy when I’m with them at Fanatics tomorrow.”
The feud between CM Punk and McIntyre escalated recently when Punk hit McIntyre with a belt on Monday night during Raw. Shortly after, there were reports that a Strap Match between them is being planned for Bash in Berlin later this month. The two also fought earlier this month at Summer Slam, but the match wasn’t as intense as many expected, given their rivalry. Although WWE hasn’t officially confirmed the match in Berlin, it would be a great opportunity to give fans an exciting fight in a rivalry that’s heating up.
Return of WWE SuperStars
The Rock has promised everyone that he’s going to return to WrestleMania at the event of Las Vegas in WrestleMania 41. The Tribal Chief also returned in the SummerSlam, which attracted millions and millions of fans. Other than that “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar is also going to make a return very soon as he shockingly showed up in a recent WWE event, that hints to his return very soon. WWE is bringing back famous champions to make the upcoming events interesting.
WWE has big events scheduled for the return of each of the fighters. As Roman Reigns reclaimed his throne of Tribal Chief the Rock is going to restore his pride and accept the challenges he received. On the other side, Brock Lesnar with his return might team up with his old friend Paul Heyman also known as “The Wise Man”. This team-up will spark a rivalry between the Tribal Chief and the Beast Incarnate and that match will be quite interesting to watch.
