The Judgement Day vs The New Day: Tag Team Championship Recap

The Judgement Day vs The New Day

The New Day’s music hits the air and Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston come out. Tessitore is telling the story of The New Day and their long journey of 10 years together, as they are about to perform their special dance since they are going to participate in the big world tag-team title match but before the Judgement Day make their entry the show goes for a commercial break.

After the commercial break, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day made their way to the ringside. Their entry is announced by the famous commentator Samantha Irvin who first announces the entry and then allows the match to be started and the bell rings.

The event had a powerful start and we could see both teams beating each other, Kingston and Woods began the match quite strongly. The start was dominated by ‘The New Day’ but as the match went further, ‘The Judgement Day’ showed its true power and began to dominate but the show went into a commercial break. After the commercial break, much to the people’s disappointment the new day was struggling and one could’ve imagined Kingston wanting a Tag.

He received a lot of hits from the ‘Judgement Day’ over and over for several minutes later Kingston was able to pin his partner Wood who came into the ring as soon as he jumped into the ring the crowd roared with excitement.

Entry of Xavier Woods

Woods comes into the ring and begins dominating both of the ‘Judgement Day’ members and it seems like the New Day members are going to be the new champions, but things get worse when the rest of The Judgment Day appears, and Kofi Kingston tries to tackle all the other members to the other ringside so that his partner can win the match.

But Kingston forgot about McDonagh as he got up and helped Balor to dominate Woods in the ring and to take advantage of him while he was on the outside. Fin Balor does his famous move called Coup de Grace against Woods and wins the match with a dominant victory. After the fight, Woods was really angry and he kept yelling at Kingston that they had to change things and they had to do something big for the future of the New Day. That was the last scene of the match between ‘The New Day’ and ‘The Judgement Day’ at WWE Monday Night RAW.

Final Thoughts

The Judgement Day has been involved in many rivalries these days. So we might see ‘The New Day’ joining other strong competitors of Judgement Day known as ‘The Terror Twins’. Fin Balor is scheduled to compete at the coming WWE Premier event called Bad Blood in early October.

Although it is uncertain if Fin Balor and his rivals will continue their story, it is promised to be a big match. The No.1 Contender Jey Uso might also join the ‘Terror Twins’ against Fin Balor in the Premier Event.
