Golden is the No. 8 receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft. He is projected to go in the top 50 in April’s upcoming draft. According to Tankathon’s mock draft, Golden will go No. 69 to the New England Patriots. That would be a great move for the Patriots as they lack wide-receiving talent on their roster.
Golden’s draft stock, as with many other lower-round picks, will either improve or hurt his draft stock at pre-draft workouts, NFL Combine, or private workouts with prospective teams. His NFL comparison has been to New York Giants Wide Receiver Darius Slayton.
Final Thoughts
The NFL world will wait with bated breath to see where the star Texas Longhorns receiver ends up. He was a crucial member of one of the best teams in the nation during their run to the College Football Playoff Semifinal. If he can carry that success into the National Football League, he will be one of the league’s best wide receivers next season.
