Braking: Tennessee Titans Sign Solid 8 Year AFC North Veteran

Tyler Boyd- Cincinnati Bengals

The NFL offseason is going well for the Tennessee Titans as they just signed receiver Tyler Boyd to a short-term contract. Tennessee is having a good offseason and signing Tyler Boyd will help their offense develop more for Will Levis. There is also a strong chance that the Titans offense could do well with a veteran receiver aiding the young quarterback.

This pickup will also reunite the receiver with Brian Callahan from their time in Cincinnati. With the aid of the veteran receiver, younger receivers like Treylon Burks could develop too. Tennessee picking up Boys will do wonders for the offense.

The story is still in development so stand by for further updates on the deal.

After last season, the Tennessee Titans were struggling to find their wide receiver too, with Treylon Burks not developing. The only receiver who did well with the Titans last year was DeAndre Hopkins with seven touchdowns. Tennessee needed to improve on wide receiver so they signed Calvin Ridley to a large contract

After signing Ridley, the Tennessee Titans needed more to help their young quarterback Will Levis and now they got Tyler Boyd. Tyler Boyd, who played his entire eight years with the Cincinnati Bengals is now in the music city. While Tyler Boyd’s numbers weren’t his standard last year was a consistent weapon for the Bengals.

Final Thoughts

Boyd could be a great weapon for the Tennessee Titans as the slot receiver for the team and annoy defenses. Even with some shaky numbers and crucial drops last season, Boyd could enjoy the new scenery in Tennessee. The Titans are appearing to try and load up against the AFC South and signing Boyd could help them.

Tennessee even if the contract is a short-term deal could help Boyd get a longer contract in the future. Along with potentially getting a better deal, Boyd will be a great help for Will Levis development as a quarterback of the future.
