Sri Lanka’s Historic ODI Series Win Over India

 Sri Lanka

His going added to the problems of India in getting partnerships together.

The middle order for India fell quickly. Rishabh Pant added just 6 runs, Shreyas Iyer could get only eight, and Axar Patel two. The Lankan spin attack was too hot to handle. Washington Sundar hit back with 30 runs off 25 balls. But his effort was all for nothing as he became the last man to fall, with India slipping to 138 for nine. chances of the team slipping away rapidly.

Kuldeep’s Dismissal Ends India’s Hopes

On the very first ball of the 27th over, Kuldeep Yadav was out. That marked the end of India’s inning and the confirmation of the historic series win by Sri Lanka. Through the last few overs, it has all been a formality. Sri Lanka did get off to a good start, putting up 248 runs for seven in 50 overs.

Their opening pair of Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando gave them a strong footing with an 89-run partnership. Sri Lanka’s Bowling Heroes Shine

Dunith Wellalage was impressive with the ball—he took five wickets. Jeffrey Vandersay was able to claim two wickets. All their work combined was good enough to dismantle India’s batting act, and hence they got a memorable win. This victory for Sri Lanka is not just another feather in their cap in this series but an epitome of their rising strength in international cricket. Sri Lanka has surely proved to be one hell of a team, and this series will be etched for years to come.
