A bombshell affair gone wrong, betrayal, drugs, alcohol, lies, and more are uncovered in a new FX Series. The FX series is a tell-all on the story of an NFL player turned cold-blooded killer. Aaron Hernandez.
Background
On June 17th, 2013, the body of Odin Lloyd, a semi-football, was found in a park near Hernandez’s home. Thanks to a video from a gas station, Hernandez was seen with Lloyd the night before. On June 18th, police arrived at Hernandez’s home with a warrant to search his home. He was arrested and brought in for questioning. He did not leave the precinct that night. They had enough evidence then and there to hold him. Aaron Hernandez was now a murderer. He had no alibi at the time of the crime.
In a case that just stunned the Nation. Aaron Hernandez stood on trial for one year before he was convicted of the murder. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Only 4 years into his sentence, he hung himself in his cell. We are expecting a lot of unanswered questions from this story as to why no one really knows why Aaron Hernandez did what he did. Some say it was due to his drug use and his extreme alcohol; others say it was an extreme rage of jealousy. Whatever his reason, I’m sure the series will explain it all.
All About Aaron Hernandez
Aaron Hernandez was born November 6th, 1989, in Bristol, Connecticut. Aaron Hernandez was a tight end and was picked in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL draft by the New England Patriots due to his size and his injuries on the field. Following his arrest in 2015, he was released from the team. In 2015, while on trial for the murder of Odin, he was also tried for a double homicide but was acquitted of those charges and found guilty of murdering Odin. Friends and teammates were just shocked that the man they played with could be convicted of such a heinous crime.
After his death in autopsy was performed on his brain and he was diagnosed with CTE a disorder that comes from years of concussions due to football. Unfortunately, at this time, the only way to diagnose this disorder is well after death, seeing as the brain needs to be removed and analyzed to determine if, in fact, they do have this disorder.
The FX series will give us details about the life, love, crime, and conviction of this NFL star-turned-killer. The Aaron Hernandez story will air on August 17th on FX.
