On the June 12th, 2024 edition of Friday Night Smackdown, Solo Sikoa made one of the most shocking requests in WWE history, something that could potentially change the entire WWE. The former Enforcer to Roman Reigns has now declared himself the new Tribal Chief during Roman’s absence and has been kicking and adding members into The Bloodline without Roman’s permission.
There has not been any word from Reigns just yet, but it is constantly being hinted that he will come back soon. Solo Sikoa is officially set to face Cody Rhodes at Summerslam 2024 for the Undisputed WWE Championship, in a match that may see the return of the real Head of the Table.
What Did Solo Sikoa Ask of Roman Reigns?
In previous Smackdown episodes, Solo Sikoa has made claims to the former Wiseman Paul Heyman that Roman Reigns won’t be coming back to the WWE. However, there was never any evidence or proof regarding this and many fans believe that Sikoa was just trying to manipulate Paul to get him on his side.
On last week’s Friday Night Smackdown, Sikoa did not say that Roman won’t be returning to the WWE. Instead, he said that if Roman decides to return, he would have to acknowledge Solo. Sikoa said that “If Roman Reigns decides to come back, he will acknowledge me as his Tribal Chief.”
This not only creates more anticipation for Roman vs Solo but also confirms that The Tribal Chief will be back in the WWE. It’s very unlikely that Reigns will come back and acknowledge Solo Sikoa and the most probable outcome will be him and his Bloodline against Sikoa and this new Bloodline.
This came just one week after Solo Sikoa awarded himself the Ula Fala, officially making him The Tribal Chief. Solo Sikoa then stated “If Roman Reigns wants that back, he can try and take it from me. It’s a new era for The Bloodline.”
The New Bloodline
Post WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa has formed his own Bloodline and has declared himself The Tribal Chief. This new Bloodline consists of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. These four men have dominated the WWE in recent months, proving to be much more ruthless than the original Bloodline.
Solo kicked Jimmy Uso out of the faction on the Smackdown after WrestleMania 40, because he lost to Jey Uso that past weekend. This Smackdown saw the debut of Tama Tonga, and he was named Solo’s right-hand man. At Backlash France, Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga’s brother, made his debut as he helped the two Bloodline members defeat Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a tag match.
On June 21st, the WWE saw one of the most menacing men to ever step inside a wrestling ring join their roster. Jacob Fatu made his heavily-anticipated debut on that night’s Smackdown, laying waste to Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. The next week, Sikoa and The Bloodline put an end to Paul Heyman’s time in the faction, kicking him out after Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo as his Tribal Chief.
Solo Sikoa vs Cody Rhodes
It has been made official that Solo Sikoa will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Summerslam 2024. Cody won that title after defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, ending his reign at 1,316 days.
This match will likely be the main event of the show, and could also see the long-awaited Reigns return. It has been reported that Roman is set to make his next appearance on Smackdown before Summerslam, though they could also push it back two days depending on the direction the WWE wants to go.
This will likely lead to Bloodline vs Bloodline: WarGames at Survivor Series 2024, where the original Bloodline featuring Roman and The Usos will take on the newly formed Bloodline in one of the most important matches in WWE history.
