The Italian spoke about the game he believed his team could have hurt the Premier League Champions, but they lacked the clinical edge in the final third. Inzaghi said: “The players did well, we knew the quality of our opponents, but we worked well and could have hurt them more in some situations, In the final third we need to show skill and technique, which we do have in the squad. Calhanoglu also spoke about the game revealing that the team wasn’t intimidated by the 2023 final loss, and they were ready to put up a good fight, in which they did. He also claimed they enjoyed themselves and they are ready to compete against anyone.
Calhanoglu said: “We wanted to show that we are not scared to play here.
