In friendly expression, Afridi invited the Indian cricket team to the 2025 Champions Trophy, to be held in Pakistan. Shahid Afridi highlighted that cricket can do wonders by reducing gaps between countries where political conflicts exist.
Afridi expressed his admiration for Virat Kohli by revealing that he is his favorite player. He also added that Virat Kohli is an extraordinary player but how he is loved and admired in Pakistan can not be expressed in words.
After securing the T20 World Cup victory, Kohli has announced his retirement from the shortest format of cricket. However, he is still available for other formats. Shahid Afridi admired Virat Kohli’s skills and class, saying that with his difference-making abilities, he is creating something special in the game around the world. Afridi also spoke of the inconsistency that has been a part of Pakistan’s cricket administration.
