The San Francisco 49ers are currently trimming down the roster from 90 men to 53 ahead of the NFL’s cut down deadline. The 49ers have until 1 p.m. pacific standard time to release, waive or place players on Injured Reserve in order to meet the league-wide rule.
Maybe a resolution regarding Trent Williams and Brandon Aiyuk will finally be made as well.
While San Francisco has already made a few moves, they must still decide the fates of 37 other players by today. The 49ers will also be signing 17 total players to the Practice Squad. Stay tuned as we track down each move one in real time.
