San Diego Padres Manny Machado Hits Important Milestone

San Diego Padres Third Baseman Manny Machado made history.

San Diego Padres Third Baseman Manny Machado made history in last night’s 5-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants. He went yard twice, and the second of his home runs etched his name into the history books. He tied the franchise’s all-time franchise home run record with 163 round-trippers. He is tied atop the list with Nate Colbert who played with the San Diego Padres from 1969-1974.

Machado has had a stellar 2024 campaign. He is hitting .274 this season with 25 home runs and 89 RBI. He is 15th in the league in RBI. Will Machado be able to keep up this momentum as the San Diego Padres look to finish off the 2024 regular season on a high note?
