Fightful Select has reported that former WWE United States Champion Ricochet has officially signed with AEW and could very well appear at AEW All In 2024. There has been no confirmation of him appearing at the company’s biggest show, however, AEW has opened up multiple windows at All In for the high-flying talent to debut.
Could Ricochet Be In the Casino Gauntlet Match?
AEW will be holding a Casino Gauntlet Match at All In 2024, a match that consists of up to 21 people. This would be the perfect ideal spot for Ricochet to debut at considering that the company has had many debuts in these types of stipulation matches. Most of the top free agents that AEW has signed have also made their first appearance for the company at PPVs, and considering that this is the biggest one they hold, it would make perfect sense for him to be an entrant in this year’s Casino Gauntlet.
If this was to be the case, then Ricochet would more than likely be the 21st entrant in this match. The wrestler has had many amazing spots in battle royale matches so it would be expected for him to have one here. However, although this would seem like an ideal scenario for Ricochet to debut, there’s another one that may be even more likely.
Will Ospreay and Ricochet AEW Face Off?
Before joining WWE, Ricochet had one of the craziest matches of all time against Will Ospreay on May 27th, 2016. This was a match in the B Block tournament of the Best of Super Juniors 2016 tournament, one of the most prestigious tournaments within the sport. They have also faced off numerous times after that, though the two never got to face each other off in a true rivalry. This could all change with Ricochet now being signed to AEW, and the two wrestlers could face off at the company’s biggest event.
Will Ospreay will look to take back his AEW International Championship, now the AEW American Championship, which he lost to MJF. Considering that the event is taking place in Ospreay’s home country of England at Wembley Stadium, it’s more than likely that he will reclaim his championship in front of his hometown crowd. After the match, however, the fans at All In may see a huge surprise as Ricochet could very well make his presence known in AEW by facing off with Will Ospreay. This is a match that could happen at All Out 2024 if this were to be the case, and the two could create another memorable outing with each other.

With Ricochet now being signed to AEW, there are many dream matches that he is going to be able to have. His high-flying skillset was made for the All Elite style and he will fit in perfectly with all the other wrestlers there as they focus primarily on in-ring work.
