Red Bull team, principal Christian Horner has declared that his team is willing to attack in what can be seen as a bid to topple McLaren. As Mclaren stands victories in the last race in Azerbaijan GP. Oscar Piastri the driver of McLaren, has led his team to victory. It was Piastri’s first victory on the podium, while Norris, made an impressive climb from fifteenth on the grid to finish in fourth place.
On the other hand, Red Bull’s diver Max Verstappen never seemed to find his rhythm in the race and had to settle for fifth place while his teammate Sergio Perez had an incident with Carlos Sainz of Ferrari in the last few laps of the race. This crash greatly affected their points distribution. In the meantime, McLaren was leading them by 20 points, Horner urged his team to “leave no stone unturned” to hold off the competitors and win the constructors’ title.
Horner: Red Bull Must Attack
After the race, the Principal of the Red Bull team, Horner acknowledged that the team was now in an unfamiliar position, having lost their lead in the championship standings. He stated,

Max Verstappen’s Struggles Continue
The main reason behind the Red Bull’s loss lots of points was the problems, that Max faced in Baku. Max Verstappen had a tough time in the qualifying session and no matter how hard he tried throughout the race he only managed to come fifth. This has been the third consecutive race in which the Dutch driver’s championship lead has been reduced. It was Oscar Piastri‘s first victory on the podium, while Lando Norris, made an impressive climb from fifteenth on the grid to finish in fourth place.
Horner looked disappointed and said the Red Bull had wanted much better, particularly given Norris’ low grid place. Still, he could not do much about Norris’s points, though less would have done even more damage to Verstappen’s advantage.
Final Thoughts
Even though this weekend was very challenging for the team, Horner still believes, they have all the potential to return to winning ways. Overall, they secured seven races and two sprints before the end of the season, the team’s main goal will now be to recover and reduce the gap towards McLaren as the battles heat up.
