Real Madrid is the Greatest Club in Soccer History.
Real Madrid spin-out of an 1897 team known as Football Sky Academy and officially became the Real Madrid we know in 1902 and officially joined the Royal Spanish Football Federation in 1909. Inspired by their then-club president Santiago Bernabéu, they constructed their home Stadium in 1947 naming it Santiago Bernabéu in his honor. With a capacity of 80,000, it was the largest stadium of its time by then and among the biggest to date.
Winning their 36th Spanish League Title, let’s take a look at what makes them the greatest club of all time, the GOAT club.
Real Madrid Champion League Trophies
The competition was first held in the 1955-1956 season in Paris, this is still considered the first EUFAs Premier club tournament. They thrashed their opponent 4 goals to three in the Perc des Princess, Paris stadium. This 1st taste of a European trophy came in as a good luck charm as they have gone on to win 14 more EUFA Champion League Titles and they are in pursuit of their 15th title this season. Winning against Bayern Munich will have them secure a place in the prestigious final.
Notably Real Madrid in the 1960 final they mercilessly beat the West German team Eintracht Frankfurt—a 7–3 victory—is widely considered one of the finest club performances of all time. Recently in the 2014 final the then 1st Team players with the help of RedOne recorded their famous anthem Hala Madrid.
Hala Madrid y nada más” was recorded at the PKO Studios in Madrid in April 2014 by the squad of Real Madrid including Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric? and Marcelo, as well as their manager Carlo Ancelotti After it was recorded, the song was played to the team before the games against Barcelona in the 2014 Copa del Rey Final and against Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid in the Champions League games to motivate the players. They won the Champions League trophy that year with a motional 4-1 extra-time win against their league rivals Athletico Madrid.

36 La Liga Titles
Real Madrid has won a record-extending 36th La Liga title after Barcelona was beaten by Girona on Saturday 4th of May. Madrid beat Cadiz 3-0 earlier on Saturday, with goals from Brahim Diaz, Jude Bellingham — two minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute — and Joselu enough to seal their 27th league win of the campaign. This League title made their manager Carlos Anceloti the most decorated manager for the Santiago Bernabéu outfit. While Real Madrid is on their 36th title, their closest rival Barcelona is on their 26th title. This goes on to show how much of a formidable team they are.
World Club Champions
Real Madrid has gone ahead and won the prestigious FIFA World Club Cup a record 5 times. No one has won this cup more than them. Recently in 2023, Real Madrid won the Club World Cup for a record-extending fifth time after beating Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal 5-3 in the final in Rabat, Morocco.
Vinicius Junior scored twice and helped Karim Benzema with a third, while Federico Valverde added two more for the European champions.
I am rooting for Real Madrid to win their 15th Champions League title this year to put the icing on the cake as the Truly GOATED European Football Club.
