The 26-year-old claimed that the former RCB captain supports and engages in positive dialogue with the team’s younger players to help them feel at ease. “The most significant thing that Kohli said to me was that he would be there for me for the whole season. He gave me his full support and assured me that I wouldn’t feel like I had moved to a new area,” RCB’ pacer said to Sports Tak.

Yash Dayal finished as the biggest wicket-taker for RCB last season. He was crucial to their comeback in the second half when they battled against all odds to make the playoffs. It seems that Kohli’s motivational talk had a positive effect on him. Beyond his on-field play, Kohli has had a significant impact off it.
