The Philadelphia 76ers sent a press release announcing the signing of Maxi Fiedler. The 23-year-old wasn’t drafted in the NBA. He played college basketball at Rice Owls. Also, in the 2023-24 season, Fiedler averaged 9.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, making 65% of his field goal attempts. Thus, he averaged 9.3 points and 7.7 rebounds throughout his college basketball career.
The Sixers president of basketball operation, Daryl Morey, looks to strengthen the future of the Sixers team with this new signing. According to the Sixers’ press release, Max Fiedler will join the Philly Brotherhood on an Exhibit 10 contract. Therefore, Fiedler can earn a G League contract or standard NBA contract in the future.

Yes, Max can become a player for the Philadelphia 76ers, starting with a two-way contract. Though the 23-year-old played the forward position at Rice, Max proved to be a good rim protector in college after ranking as second-best in his division for the number of blocks (125) in his college basketball career.
