Nice has faltered in the last couple of months in Ligue 1. They were once toward the top of the table but had a rough go in the middle of the season that saw them fall to a non-desirable mid-table spot. However, their fine form in the last five matches has given Francesco Farioli’s squad some much-needed confidence moving into the last games of the year.
OGC will hope to recover goal scoring form, as they have struggled to put the ball past the other team’s keeper and find the net to earn three points in most games this year. They have conceded more goals than usual due to a shaky backline, so they hope to continue their zero goals against streak when they face off against Mbappe’s PSG today.
Nice face off against the top teams in their last couple of matches of the season, so finishing inside of the top three or top two is a big ask – but if they can continue their confidence on the pitch and capitalize off of PSG making mistakes as they did in the last game, they could provide a huge upset.

PSG recently lost against Toulouse in a shocking home match that saw Kylian Mbappe net his last-ever goal for his club at their home ground, the Parc des Princes. This was PSG’s only loss in Ligue 1 for months on end, as they suffered trhee goals against in the surprising game vs. Toulouse – and in the Champions League vs. Dortmund.
There is a huge chance that PSG could lose this game, too. They have already won Ligue 1 with two games to go, so the manager could put in academy players and substitutes who have not received many minutes so far this year.
