The 2025 NFL Draft is less than 30 days away. That being said, it’s time to drop my first mock draft for Total Apex Sports. This mock will be who I believe that team will select on Draft Day which is April 24 – 26 at Lambeau Field. I declare this 2025 Mock Draft open and the Titans are on the clock.
1. Tennessee Titans- Cam Ward QB (Miami)
Cam Ward is undoubtedly the best quarterback in this draft class. Ward has a cannon for an arm and has a very high IQ on the gridiron. The Titans fix their QB problem and move on from Will Levis.
2. Cleveland Browns- Shedeur Sanders QB (Colorado)
Yes, that’s right, the second quarterback is off the board. This made sense after seeing everyone important for the Browns was at Colorado’s Pro Day. After the owner’s statement about Deshaun Watson, this was an easy pick.
3. New York Giants- Travis Hunter WR/CB (Colorado)
That is back-to-back Colorado players off the board. The signing of Quarterback Russell Wilson was a clear sign they are steering clear of drafting a QB. The Giants get a shut down corner and add a wide receiver with Malik Nabers that could become the best WR duo in the NFL.
4. New England Patriots- Abdul Carter Edge (Penn State)
In this mock draft the Patriots get the best edge rusher in the draft. Carter gets to go to New England where Mike Vrabel just took over. He is one of the best defensive minds in the NFL. Carter is a very fast and physical edge that has a high ceiling.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars- Tetairoa McMillan WR (Arizona)
The Jags get Trevor Lawrence much-needed help at the wide receiver spot. This pick is the best bet to help an offense that only averaged just over 200 yards a game. That will not cut it in today’s NFL.
6. Las Vegas Raiders- Ashton Jeanty RB (Boise State)
At the beginning of the offseason, every mock draft out had Las Vegas drafting Sanders here, but things have changed. Pete Carrol and Geno Smith had a reunion in Las Vegas and no longer need a QB. So they just get the best running back in the draft.
7. New York Jets- Tyler Warren TE (Penn State)
This is a great pick for the Jets after signing Justin Fields in free agency. You add a big-bodied tight end with Garrett Wilson. It will give defenses all kinds of nightmares. Fields will have a great safety blanket during his first season under center in New York.
8. Carolina Panthers- Will Johnson CB (Michigan)
I went corner here to help out a defense that struggled against the pass last season. The defense allowed almost 225 yards passing per game last season. That will not cut it. Adding a corner like Johnson will bolster the secondary.
9. New Orleans Saints- Will Campbell OT (LSU)
Campbell falls to the Saints in this mock draft to help an offensive line that struggled last season. The Saints allowed 37 sacks last season. That is a stat they must improve if they want to make it back to the NFL Playoffs.
10. Chicago Bears- Kelvin Banks Jr. OT (Texas)
Two offensive tackles go back-to-back in the NFL mock draft. That just goes to show you how important the line is in the NFL. The Bears invest in protecting Caleb Williams, last year’s No. 1 overall pick. Banks is a solid pick who will come in and start right away.
Still To Come
This is only part one of my mock draft 1.0. I will be posting part 2 which will have picks 11-32 in the coming days. Stay tuned on Total Apex Sports for all the latest draft news.
