Severino tossed 4.2 innings and surrendered two unearned runs, but walked away with the loss tonight as his offense was nonexistent.
Los Angeles Dodgers Starting Pitcher Walker Buehler bounced back from a rough outing in the NLDS with a historic outing tonight. He finished with four scoreless innings while punching out six. His bullpen was at the top of its game as they tossed five scoreless innings while punching out seven. The New York Mets have been shut out for the second time in three NLCS games.
Looking Ahead To Game 4
Los Angeles will send Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the mound tomorrow evening. He will be opposed by Jose Quintana. Yamamoto started two games in the NLDS against the San Diego Padres. He fared miserably in one start and great in the other. He surrendered five earned runs in three innings in Game One and tossed five scoreless innings in Game 5. The Dodgers will look for another stellar start from Yamamoto as the team looks to take a decisive 3-1 lead.
Jose Quintana has been spectacular during the 2024 MLB Postseason. He has tossed 11 scoreless innings to begin his postseason. The New York Mets need another great start from Quintana as they look to even up the NLCS. Game 4 at Citi Field will breed an electric atmosphere as both ballclubs want the victory.
