New York Giants Injury Report Week 9

The New York Giants injury report features many quality players.

With October ending, here are the New York Giants injury reports for week nine against the Washington Commanders. New York will be missing some of their offensive players like Running Back Tyrone Tracy and offensive linemen. Some players who are questionable for their week nine battle against the Commanders.

New York’s injuries have been a problem this season and could hamper the team again. While some of the players could be healthy enough to play, it could get worse for the team moving forward. This New York Giants injury report could hamper the team against their divisional rival on Sunday.

New York Giants Injury Report: Concussion Protocol On Tracy

The New York Giants injury report has the team’s offense being hurt with Running Back Tyrone Tracy in concussion protocol. Tracy, after a solid game against the Steelers, suffered a concussion during a run. While the season has been a disaster, Tracy has been breaking out as a solid player for the Giants.

New York losing their young running back could make the offense worse, with Devin Singletary struggling. Singletary has been having a nightmare season for the Giants and it could get worse. With Singletary’s struggles, the Giants could be facing a challenge in the run game.

Offensive Line Battered

The New York Giants injury report also includes offensive linemen, including Josh Ezeudu. Ezeudu, while struggling, has been used as a tackle for the Giants line with Andrew Thomas out for the year. There is also a concern for the Giants’ offensive line which had limited practice for the team.

The linemen who had limited practice included Jermaine Eluemunor and John Michael Schmitz. With Schmitz having injury issues last season, the Giants hopefully could see him healthy. Eluemunor has been decent for the Giants offensive line, but with a chance of injury could hurt the line badly.

While they could play, they could have an injury against a stout Commanders defense and could struggle. With the offensive line weak, the Giants will need their hurt linemen to do well against the Commanders. The Giants’ offensive line has been a disaster and could have another weak game.

Final Thoughts

This New York Giants injury report shows that the team will have a difficult time against the Commanders on Sunday. New York has been a rough watch this season, and losing a solid runner could make it worse. Tracy has been a good running back for the Giants this season, and potentially losing him could hamper the offense. Even with a solid run game from Singletary, the Giants’ offense has been porous all season.

The Giants’ offensive line is also having injuries before week nine. Potentially losing a backup lineman, could hurt the offensive line depth. Along with losing a backup lineman, there is a chance that the Giants could lose their starters. While their starting linemen have practiced, they are hurt and could worsen during the gameWith the season being a disaster, this New York Giants injury report could see the team in another loss season.
