New York Giants Aftermath: Week 4 Disaster Against Dallas

With week four done for the team, the New York Giants aftermath of Thursday’s night brutal loss. One of the key elements in the loss is the man in the center not being clutch and failing. Daniel Jones has not played well in the first four games of the season, and it’s telling with Thursday night’s loss.

Another crucial factor in the loss is the lack of the run game from the Giants with Devin Singletary underachieving. The lack of a run game made the Giants a one-dimensional offense and made them overthrow it.

The Giants’ post-game press conferences also show that the players and coaches are confident in this team. While the play was weak from the offense, there is confidence with Brian Daboll expressing how the team’s confidence is going forward after the loss. The New York Giants’ aftermath of this loss shows the team could do well, but does not have enough to win.

In today’s New York Giants aftermath of their Thursday night loss, one of the main factors in the loss is their quarterback. While Jones did fine being 29/40, he did not have a passing touchdown in the loss. Jones did not throw the ball that well with mostly short passes to Malik Nabers, and Wan’Dale Robinson.

There were no deep passes from Jones during the loss, and he has not thrown many deep passes this season. Jones has been having deep ball problems since last season, and it could damage the game plan for the Giants offense. With the potential of being cut after the season, Jones not having efficient games could make the case.

New York Giants Aftermath: Horrible Run Offense

Another brutal factor for the loss against the Cowboys is the Giants’ run game being poor. Singletary in the loss rushed for 24 yards and nearly had fumbles in the run game. There was also the Giants trying to have Tyrone Tracy Jr running poorly and the Giants being one-dimensional.

With the poor run game against one of the worst run defenses in the Cowboys, New York must do more. The Giants are failing to establish the run game and it’s costing them offensive opportunities against defenses. With the Giants’ run game being porous, teams could focus on their pass game and pressure Jones to make mistakes.

New York Giants Post-Game Press Conference Quips

The Giants offense had played poorly during the first four weeks but during the post-game press conference, there is confidence. Daboll during the press conference had talked about the progress against the Cowboys on Thursday night.

During a media availability for the team, Daboll also talked about “consistency in techniques” There were also concerns about finishing drives with touchdowns from receivers like Robinson who sounds frustrated from his tone.

Final Thoughts

This New York Giants aftermath shows that while they have confidence, the offense is not good and is falling apartThe Giants’ offense has been putrid with the passing game being limited due to their quarterback. With Jones playing poorly, the Giants offense is limited to what he could do and it’s hurting the team to where he loses games for them.

Another major concern for the Giants is the running game from Thursday night. With the lack of running from Singletary and Tracy, the Giants’ offense became one-dimensional. Without a solid run game, the Giants offense becomes just passing in short routes which NFL defense could eat alive.

During the New York Giants aftermath of the game, the media availability conferences had the players and coach showing confidence. It shows that they need to stay consistent and finish drives during the rest of the season. While they have flaws, the staff shows that they could have a strong season even with the flaws they have.

This New York Giants aftermath shows that while the team has good things coming to them, they still have flaws in 2024.
