More concerning updates may affect the new cricket season, with newly crowned T20 World Cup-winning captain Jos Buttler possibly sitting out for most of the T20I series against Pakistan. According to iNews, the 33-year-old cricketer who came back to England in the middle of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), could be asked to take a leave anytime.
This absence is due to a very personal reason. The cricketer is a father of two, and his wife, Louise, is due to give birth to their third child in the next couple of days. In this case, he may have to leave the field for his family, especially during this time as they undergo some crucial phases in their lives.
