Milan has a stacked starting eleven and a bench full of subs that can come on and make a difference in any game. But one of their players stood out this year in the league, making him a hot commodity for teams in various leagues across the world, including the Premier League, German Bundesliga, France Ligue 1, and Spanish La Liga.
So, which team will be able to afford the superstar leftback from Milan in Serie A? Will anyone try to purchase this athletic and talented defender, or will he stay at Milan for another year?

Bayern Munich are worried going into their next season. Their fastest player who had the most assists on their team -as an outside back – is heading to the infamous Spanish team, Real Madrid. Alphonso Davies, the Canadian international, is one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga, so Bayern needs to work quickly to replace him with another suitable candidate.
They have their eyes on Milan’s outside back, Theo Hernandez. Lucas Hernandez, the current PSG man, and his brother, Theo, are both extremely talented players in their respective leagues in the footballing world. Theo Hernandez could be the latest transfer news on the market for the 2024-2025 season if he doesn’t accept his contract extension.
Milan News states that Hernandez is available for another few years with his Italian team, but it all depends on contract negotiations, transfer deals, and player preferences.
‘Milan values Theo Hernandez at around 100 million euros. The high valuation is a deterrent for any club willing to approach them for the Frenchman…The goal is a renewal, even though it would involve high figures.’
Currently, AC Milan also has Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaaw, Pierre Kalau, and Matteo Gabbia as center-backs who could slot in for Hernandez if he departs to go to Bayern Munich. For Bayern, they lost Davies, who is one of their key defenders. They also have Pavlovic as a defensive midfielder, but he is currently injured. Other defenders include Matthijs de Ligt, Min-Jae Kim (injured), Eric Dier, Joshua Kimmich, and Sacha Boey.

Theo Hernandez at AC Milan
Hernandez is a French footballer who currently plays for AC Milan in Serie A, having signed for the talented Italian side back in 2019. Since his initial signing, he has gone on to make 162 appearances for the senior team and amass 27 goals in all competitions.
Last year in 2023, he was able to play in the UEFA Champions League competition, helping his team move on towards the next round. His stature and playing style as a center-back make him one of the best in the world at defending crosses, stopping 1v1 attacks, and distributing the ball.
Last season for Milan in Serie A, he played 32 matches, scored five goals, and earned four assists on the year. He also made appearances in six Europa League competitions and provided three assists for key goals for his team members. Hernandez played in two matches for Milan for the Coppa Italia tournament, along with earning six appearances in the UEFA Champions League and providing one assist.
