Picking a few names would have been a difficult task. However, he shocked the world when he announced his favorites.

The former UFC middleweight champion was asked to name his four favorite fighters. Surprisingly, such fighters as Georges St-Pierre and Royce Gracie were mentioned, but he failed to mention Jones and Nurmagomedov. Instead, he included Anderson Silva and Chuck Liddell in his list of choices.
This might surprise many since Jones (27-1-0) and Nurmagomedov (29-0-0) are the first names that come to people’s minds when discussing the best fighters in UFC history. Thus, this list probably has disappointed a lot of fans.
Influence of ‘The Notorious’
If we start considering other UFC stars, then the name of ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor comes up. But unfortunately, Bisping didn’t consider him, not only this time but also in previous social media appearances. Another time when Bisping mentioned his best fighters list was on his “Believe You Me” podcast. The episode aired not long ago. Yet, he never considered any of the legends, which most likely shocked many. While McGregor may not have been around as long or put together a career anywhere close to some of the other contenders, ‘MMA would not be what it is today without the influence of ‘The Notorious.’
The CEO of UFC, Dana White, would never skip Nurmagomedov, Jones, and especially McGregor, who is well-known for White’s privilege. Recently, the ranking board approved the UFC’s ranking, and it ranked Islam Makhachev as the Pound-for-Pound Champion. This shocked White, and he started to yell at the team. He believes that Jones should be considered the best Pound-for-Pound champion. This shows how important Jones is in the sport.

Jon Jones is the greatest fighter of all time in UFC. He has fought many champions, including most of the big names in the industry, and dominated them with his striking style.
