Micah Parsons Predicts Upcoming Dallas Mavericks Season

Micah Parsons, Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons recently predicted the upcoming Dallas Mavericks season. Parsons, 25, was recently asked at an event at a Cowboys-themed Raising Cane’s in Dallas what the Mavericks have to do to win the NBA Finals next year.

Parsons responded, “I think they’re already close … they’ve got a great group of guys. They added a couple of pieces this offseason. So, it’s going to be a very interesting team. I think they can actually do it. Luka is special. Kyrie is special. It was a couple of games where they just went down the stretch and made their runs, the game is all about runs.” Parsons’ recent response sparked a conversation on social media. Here’s what you need to know about Parsons’ response so you can make an informed prediction.

Micah Parsons’ Dallas Mavericks Prediction

Dallas Mavericks

Micah Parsons sports a No. 11 jersey on the field, but he recently swapped jobs for a day. Parsons worked a shift at the Dallas Cowboys and Post Malone-themed Raising Cane’s at 2255 W. Northwest Highway in Dallas.

At the Raising Cane’s, Parsons responded to a question asked by ClutchPoints’ Joey Mistretta, who covers the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Wings. He told Mistretta that he thinks the Mavericks are close to winning another NBA title and they can win the next NBA Finals. He also likes the Mavericks’ offseason additions. Parsons’ response was fair, but it’s too early to tell. The Mavericks might not get the best version of Klay Thompson. Thompson’s final years with the Golden State Warriors were plagued with various injuries.

Micah Parsons Might Be Right

Micah Parsons might be right in his recent prediction about the Dallas Mavericks’ upcoming regular season and postseason. The Mavericks will open their season in a little over a month, but in the meantime, their preseason and training camp are just around the corner. The Mavericks’ offseason additions are solid, but it’s important to note that these additions must bring strong three-point shooting to the table for a more dangerous offense.

Although there have been many Klay Thompson headlines in recent weeks, the Mavericks’ roster remains reliant on Luka Doncic, who could win the MVP next year, and Kyrie Irving, who’s a legitimate co-partner for Doncic. Irving and Doncic’s partnership is larger than life, as both players are two of the best isolation players in the NBA.

Micah Parsons’ Dallas Cowboys Career

Micah Parsons isn’t a Super Bowl champion as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, but he’s one of the best players and linebackers in the NFL. Three years ago, Parsons was selected with the 12th overall pick by the Cowboys at the 2021 NFL Draft.

CBS Sports named Parsons the NFL’s ninth-best player a few months ago, which was right. Parsons’ arguable generational defensive talent makes him arguably the most impactful, as his dominance is on display for even the most casual NFL fans out there.
