Miami Dolphins Gear Up For Make Or Break 2024 Season

Miami Dolphins

After a disappointing playoff run, the Miami Dolphins desperately are trying to make a deep run in the 2024 NFL season. After cutting and losing key pieces, the Dolphins are trying to reload quickly for their dwindling Super Bowl window. Right now Miami is desperate for a deep playoff run and if they can’t achieve that, it will be curtains for certain people.

Miami is trying to fix key defensive pieces while loading up on the receiver core. The Dolphins in the draft have addressed questions in the defensive tackle with Chop Robinson but also have questions with the offensive line. Recently the Dolphins have also signed a Super Bowl receiver to the team.

This could be an all-in year for the Miami Dolphins this season and if it doesn’t end well it could be consequential for the entire organization.

The Miami Dolphins Replacing And Adding New Weapons

With the Dolphins coming off a brutal playoff loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, they started cutting people’s pieces. The Dolphins let their better defensive tackle Christian Wilkins walk in free agency and cut pieces. Miami had cut many pieces including their offensive line and cornerbacks and will need to fill them out fast.

The Miami Dolphins recently signed pro-bowl receiver Odell Beckham Miami will have another target for Tua in the passing game.  Hopefully,

The Dolphins this offseason also drafted an edge rusher in the draft to address the injuries, of Bradly Chubb and Jaelan Phillips. Chop Robinson could do well with the Miami Dolphins’ defensive system and hopefully will pan out.

Miami also made signings of various linebackers and secondary pieces, the Miami Dolphins are trying to load up for another strong season. The Dolphins are loading the defense with the veteran help of Jordan Poyer, Jordyn Brooks, and Shaquil Barrett. Miami is hoping these veterans and prospects could do well to help them reach the promised land.

The Last Ride For Chris Grier And Mike McDaniels?

Miami is hoping to get success this time around due to the desperation from their GM and head coach Chris Grier and Mike McDaniels. These moves could either help the Dolphins or cost them their jobs in 2024.

After defensive coordinator Vic Fangio was fired, the Dolphins’ front office and coaching are doing everything to keep their jobs. If the Dolphins don’t make the playoffs or have a deep run, Chris Grier and Mike McDaniels could be fired next. This is coming after two major collapses under McDaniels’ coaching tenure, along with Grier’s moves potentially blowing up in their faces.

Final Thoughts

This could be an all-in year for the Miami Dolphins this season and if it doesn’t end well it could be consequential for the entire organization. The Dolphins had cut most of their roster from the last season and been filling it up with veterans. There is hope that the veterans in the defense could shore it up for 2024.

Miami this season is all in and if they don’t make noise, could have everyone fired. After two brutal collapses in the playoffs, it could be Mike McDaniels and Chris Grier’s last chance. The Dolphins also will have Odell Beckham for the offense. This could be the make-or-break year for the Miami Dolphins and if they don’t make it, it could clean up the entire building.
