Mauro Ranallo Returning to Wrestling Announcing

Mauro Ranallo Returning to Wrestling

Mauro Ranallo is returning to pro wrestling as a commentator. Exciting news! He will be inside the wrestling world once again as a wrestling commentator, as Jim Ross has announced that he will be a guest at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, a promotion that is returning through Scott D’Amore, former president of TNA Wrestling.

D’Amore knows that people like the commentary of the famous Mauro Ranallo, famously known for his loud “Mamma Mia.” Everyone knows that the voice that takes you through the journey of the whole match is very important and D’Amore has successfully found the right person for that.

Mauro Ranallo: Voice of the Matches

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet regarding the Forged in Excellence event scheduled for October 19 and 20, D’Amore emphasized the necessity of a promotion to have its voice. He then told everyone that he had got a man named Mauro Ranallo who would announce Maple Leaf Pro. One of the most important parts of wrestling is the commentary of the matches, D’Amore himself said, “To me, in wrestling and sport, one of the most important things is the voice that’s leading you down this journey.

“The voice that is giving you this background and describing the action in-ring, explaining it, providing that emotion as your tour guide on this journey is so important.” He explained it beautifully in his words, and that’s also one of the biggest reasons that big organizations like UFC and WWE have got this big.

Mauro Ranallo’s Awesome Performance

News of Ranallo agreeing to be part of the promotion is the latest in a series of big names to sign up for the promotion. The other talents signed into the AEW are Konosuke Takeshita, TNA talents Josh Alexander, and Raj Dhesi who is also known as Jinder Mahal, a former WWE star. Born in Vancouver, the Canadian announcer first joined WWE in 2015 and debuted as the primary announcer of SmackDown in 2016. People liked the commentary of Ranallo and actively followed him and his loud “Mamma Mia” during the momentous scenes in the fights.

Ranallo briefly left SmackDown in early 2017 but returned to the company as the lead announce for NXT until he departed the company in 2020. He has also commentated on the wrestling match between Kenny Omega and Rich Swann at Impact’s Rebellion 2021 pay-per-view and has commentated on several boxing and MMA fights. One of the famous fights that he commented on in MMA/Boxing was the fight between Mayweather and Conor McGregor.
