Kopech made his MLB in 2018 as a member of the Chicago White Sox and has had an up-and-down tenure in professional baseball. He missed the 2019 season due to Tommy John Surgery and opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kopech spent parts of the first seven seasons of his career in Chicago before being traded to Los Angeles last month. Kopech has been both a starter and a reliever in the league but has seemingly found his niche in the bullpen of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a career record of 19-33 with a 4.26 ERA.
