Los Angeles is the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference with a 44-32 record. They will be locked in a dogfight over the season’s final weeks as they look to avoid the NBA Play-In Tournament. The Clippers have the same record as the Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies. In such a crowded conference, the Los Angeles Clippers have no margin of error.
The Clippers have had a strong offense this year. They are 20th in points scored, 10th in field goal percentage, and ninth in three-point percentage. Los Angeles has been even better on defense. They are fourth in points allowed, seventh in opposing field goal percentage, and third in opposing three-point percentage. Point Guard James Harden has turned back the clock this season. He has been great. Harden is 20th in points per game and fifth in assists. He has helped the team play so well as of late.

Leonard is looking to have a healthy playoff run for the first time since 2021. He has been hurt in the postseason in recent years. Leonard is on a short list of players with multiple NBA Finals MVP Awards. If he can put together a healthy postseason, the Los Angeles Clippers can advance further than their seed.
