Logan Paul On His Way to Make Amazing Record in WWE

Logan Paul

Logan Paul is one professional wrestler who has risen through the ranks so quickly that many people did not see him coming. Earlier in his career, he was famous for his YouTube channel and some scandals. Paul has proved his worth in WWE and has become the new United States Champion, and the win also marked a great record that has been set.

Paul’s path to the United States Championship started with a cracking win over the icon Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel event last year. This victory was not only humble for the WWE community but also paved the way for a rather surprising reign that has shocked everyone. Paul has achieved great things in the ring despite being active in wrestling for some time only. He is quite muscular and flexible, and he has great entertainment skills as well.

Ever since he got the belt, the best that Logan Paul has been willing to face has been rather sparing, including only two big fights. His first defense saw him disqualified for a victory at the Royal Rumble against Kevin Owens. This is the somewhat contentious way in which the title stayed around Paul’s waist, even though it was far from the ideal victory they would have wanted.

This second win can be considered even stronger, as under the cage at WrestleMania 40, Cesaro defeated not only Kevin Owens but also Randy Orton. While there were not many of them, these fights can attest that Paul can tank with some of the most prominent names in WWE.

Currently, using the data found on WWE Stats, Logan Paul stands out as the longest United States Championship holder in the wrestling history of the past ten years. Within the first week of October, Paul extended his reign to 250 and some odd days, passing Austin Theory’s second reign of 257 days, which had previously remained impenetrable until now. This is a testimony that could be easily attributed to hard work and belief in delivering one’s best because Paul has not been wrestling for long.

Out of all US champions, from WCW to the NWA and more, Paul is now ranked as the 22nd longest-reigning champion of the title.

This places him in an esteemed class, and he is almost close to the achievement of Konstantin, where he can leave legends of wrestling such as Ricky Steamboat and Booker T, holding the belt four times.

Addressing Criticisms: Less Defense, More Effect

Another concern people have had about Logan Paul is that he has had very few title defenses, a thing that he has explained in several interviews. Therefore, as he stresses, this does not mean that he rarely defends them; such a position does not weaken the concept of his reign. All these matches have been hard competitions, and Paul has given spectacular Ninjand performances that always make the fans hold their breaths. His selective approach enhances the aura of his championship reign, depending on the opponent’s status.

Expectedly, in the future, Logan Paul will be in a head-to-head tussle with LA Knight in SummerSlam on August 3rd to defend the United States Championship. The next match is particularly being expected keenly since wrestling enthusiasts are waiting to see if LA Knight will be able to defeat Paul and bring an end to the record-breaking performance that he has had.

Knight, who is a dangerous fighter with a weekly growing popularity, can be considered one of the most threatening rivals for Paul since the moment he gained the champion title.
