The Reds blew their last-16 opponents away in the first leg in Prague. They ran out 5-1 winners against Sparta Prague in the away leg last week, making the return at Anfield feel like a completed 90-minute game unless the Sparta are ready to change the narrative. If this happens it’s going to be something historic otherwise Liverpool will be in the quarter-final draw this Friday.
Klopp said on press: Mo Salah “is ready to start,” but a full 90 minutes is unlikely. Ryan Gravenberch back in training, could take his place on the bench. He assured fans that “the lineup will have the best legs”. Liverpool currently has several players on the injury list but one of her players that will assuredly start the game is Dominik Szoboszlai. He took the pre-match press conference, declaring himself himself “pain-free” and “back.

Jakub Pesek could miss out for the away side, as he has missed the last four matches with a knee injury. Sparta Prague is likely to shape up in a 3-4-2-1 formation against Liverpool, with Peter Vindahl in goal.
In the back three, Martin Vitik will start alongside Ladislav Krejci and Asger Sorensen. Angelo Preciado and Matej Rynes will be deployed as the wing-backs, and they will look to help out during counter-attacking situations and keep the Liverpool wingers quiet.
In the middle of the park, Qazim Laci will start alongside Kaan Kairinen. The two players will look to add creativity and defensive cover to the side. Jan Kuchta will lead the line for Sparta Prague here, with Veljko Birmancevic and Lukas Haraslin on either side of him.
