Liverpool’s Electric Winger on Saudi Radar for the 24/25 Season – Shocking Transfer News

Liverpool fans might have more to worry about than just Jurgen Klopp leaving them before the 2024-2025 Premier League season is underway. One of their most exciting players to watch could be on his way out of the door after limited playing time this past year led to tension and strain within the dressing room at Anfield.

Of course, the money that the Saudi Pro League doesn’t hurt either. Some of the Saudi clubs offer contracts that Premier League players, Bundesliga squad members, and Ligue 1 players just can’t turn down – especially if they feel like they could get limited playing time at their current club.

Liverpool Winger Could Make the move to Saudi League

The Saudi Pro League has snatched up some of the best players in the Premier League in the past two years, like N’golo Kante, the midfield engine from Chelsea, Fabinho, the midfield stalwart at Liverpool, and Benzema, the Real Madrid striker who helped them win numerous Champions League trophies.

They have now set their sights on two of the Reds from this past season – Luis Diaz and Joe Gomez. Last year, Liverpool lost two of their key members, Fabinho and Henderson (the Reds’ captain), to the Saudi League. Many fans felt as though they betrayed their club and were ‘sellouts’ for heading to this lower-level domestic league for millions of dollars.

But, older players could argue that if they feel they only have one or two more seasons left, they can go to Saudi Arabia, make a lot of money, and end their careers in a financially stable position. However, this isn’t the case for Diaz and Gomez, both of who are younger than 30 years old and finding themselves in the best spot they have ever been in either of their careers.

One of the main motivating factors that could contribute to Diaz making a move to Saudi Arabia is playing time and how Arne Slot sees the winger in his new formation. If the new gaffer doesn’t like the way he plays, or his attributes, he might get very limited minutes. In the past few seasons, Diaz has played a huge role in the resurgence of Liverpool, and fans hope to continue seeing him at his best.

As it stands, Diaz is under contract with the club for three more seasons, so making the move to another country would incur millions in transfer fees and huge wages.

Since joining Liverpool in 2022, the Colombian winger has gone on to capture the hearts of fans who enjoy his dramatic playing style, electric pace, and intensity. His work rate and speed are unmatched, bringing tons of energy and enthusiasm to every single minute he is on the pitch.

Diaz has amassed 67 appearances for the Reds over the past two seasons and scored a crucial 16 goals for the club.

Looking forward, Liverpool should consider keeping Diaz, as Mohamed Salah might leave the club shortly due to getting older and Klopp’s departure. This will only mean more playing time for Diaz, especially since his direct competition, Jota, has been struggling with injuries for the past year.

Will Diaz head to Saudi? Stay tuned to find out if this big transfer will take place before the inception of the 2024-2025 PL season.
