Real Madrid’s physical stores have sold over 7,000 Kylian Mbappé’s jerseys since they went live on July 11th. Furthermore, they have made online sales of over €800,000 in the last 24 hours. Much of the sales can be attributed to Mbappe’s jersey. His jersey costs a whopping €170 minus shipping fees.
Jude Bellingham was the star athlete for the Whites in 2023. However, Mbappe’s jersey sales have surpassed Jude Bellingham’s by five times. Demand for his jersey skyrocketed as soon as Real Madrid announced his jersey number; No. 9 was previously won by Karim Benzema.

Kylie Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain barely two months ago and signed a deal with Real Madrid where he is already making an impact even before hitting the pitch. He joined the team on a free transfer on a five-year deal that was worth €15 million ($16.2m). Also, his deal will see him earn €150 m for his deal.

On Tuesday, July 16th, Real Madrid presented Mbappe at the Bernabéu in front of more than 80,000 fans. The player wore his No. 9 jersey to the unveiling which might be one of the reasons why fans went crazy and purchased so many of his jerseys.
During his welcome event, Mbappe said,

Real Madrid’s Announcement Amid Rising Demand
The demand for Mbappe’s jersey was so much that the club had to make an official statement to request their fans to be patient.
Marca shared the message shared on Real Madrid’s website that read,
Due to current high demand, items in this collection may experience a delay in delivery of up to 4-6 additional weeks , regardless of the shipping method selected. This delay will affect both orders exclusive to the Mbappé collection and those that combine products from the Mbappé collection with other products from the online store.
This message was shared on the first day that Mbappe’s jersey was made available to fans. Mbappe’s jersey demand has added more value to him and his team. Moreover, he has proved to his new team that they made the right choice to sign him.

Real Madrid’s Plan For Mbappe
