Kristoffer Olsson, the Sweden midfielder is hoping on a full return back to start playing soccer as he continues to heal from an acute brain condition that kept him in the hospital over a month. Despite this injury the player is looking to return to full form and perform for his team. He is feeling optimistic about his recovery as he makes his return to the pitch.

Olsson was hospitalized in February after loosing consciousness at home, he’s still staying and recovering at a neurological rehabilitation center but showed up at his Danish club Midtjylland’s to make his first appearance while the club won its game in the Domestic League title.
After the match Kristoffer Olsson was driven around the field in a cart holding the trophy as fans applauded him showing him love, care and support.
Meanwhile, in a conversation with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet on Monday, Kristoffer Olsson discussed his confidence in returning to the pitch and playing again “Dreaming of being back with the team and training again”.
Kristoffer Olsson Brain Clot Recovery
Olsson, aged 28, was diagnosed with several blood clots in his brain as a result of rare blood-vessels inflammation. He required supports and recalls a three-week period where he has no recollection due to his conditions. He said, “I was basically dying.”
He said his recovery is progressing steadily, and he has already began kicking the ball around the recovery and rehab center. Olsson stated, “I played a bit of football here the other day, with a member of staff. She was in goal.”
Nevertheless, it remains unclear when Kristoffer Olsson can return home and resume his normal life, let alone returning back to the pitch to play professional soccer. When disccussing his hope to play again he said:
Of course you want to return as quickly as possible and fight to get there. “But I’m not stressing over that, it will take the time it takes. But I can move well, I can run, and my memory is good. I’m getting better with each day
Kristoffer Olsson Return to Midtjylland
Olsson has represented Sweden 47 times, more recently against Estonia in November, He made a return to Midtjylland in 2022 for a second spell. He previously played for Anderlecht in Belgium, ALK in Sweden, Krasnodar in Russia and was part of the youth setup at Arsenal in England.
