Former Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav, who is regarded as a multitasking all-rounder, plans to bid adieu to his cricketing career at the age of 39. Kedar Jadhav made his international debut in 2014 when he was included in the Indian team for the Bangladesh ODI series in June. In ODIs, Kedar Jadhav proved his worth while playing for India against Bangladesh in June 2014. Regardless, he was only able to play his first match in November of the same year, where he represented the team in a match against Sri Lanka at Ranchi.
His first international assignment came in the form of being selected to be part of an Indian touring party to Zimbabwe in 2015 and another one in 2016. In the IPL, Kedar Jadhav was first in the advancement team of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and then acquired by the Delhi Capitals Seekers in the 2010 edition. He also made his IPL debut and displayed his prowess on the night by scoring fifty from thirty-nine balls.
In his career, which has crossed over different years, he has been a part of numerous teams, some of them being the Kochi Tuskers Kerala, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the Chennai Super Kings, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
While it took him to have a concrete standing and assurance in the List A format by playing in four of the team’s home matches against New Zealand in October 2016,.
He immediately secured himself as the team’s standard for the Indians, habitually assuming the job of a finisher.

In his ODI career, Jadhav played 73 matches, scoring 1389 runs in 52 innings at an average of 42.09, including two centuries and six fifties. As a bowler, he took 27 wickets with an economy rate of 5.15. In first-class cricket, Jadhav played 87 matches, scoring 6100 runs at an average of 48.03, with 17 centuries and 23 half-centuries.
His last Ranji Trophy season (2023–24) saw him score 182 against Jharkhand and wrap up with 379 runs from five matches. In the IPL, he played 93 games, scoring 1196 runs at a strike pace of 123.17.
Jadhav’s last appearance for India was in an ODI against New Zealand in Auckland in 2020. Revealing his retirement, Kedar Jadhav offered gratitude for the assistance he provided all through his calling. His power retirement clarification read, “Thank you for your love and sponsorship all through my calling. From 1500 hours on, consider me to have left a wide range of cricket.”
