The opening tilt of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCBs) produced an awesome victory over the Chennai Super Kings (CSKs). RCB secured a playoff spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2024. Handling pressure under challenging conditions
With the overwhelming downpour, the ball turned spongy and difficult for Dayal to hold on to. The onset of his last overpitches slipped a bit, which all but made it an easy pick-off for Dhoni. Dhoni came out of the crease and played a forceful shot and the trivial mistake had cost him his wicket. Yash Dayal had his redemption, sealing the win for RCB and securing their spot in the playoffs.
